Summer Break 2022

The club is now on its Summer Break and there will be no club night until we reconvene again in September. The first night of the new season will be Tuesday 6th September at the usual time of 8pm – 10pm.

We are open!

With the lifting of COVID restrictions and the leisure centre returning to normal operation we are once again opening our doors to new members.

If you are interested in playing badminton on a regular basis with a local friendly group of players then please get in contact via our contact form. The core of our members have been playing regularly for many years but if you are a beginner or casual player looking to improve then we can help and provide advice.

Club Closed

As a result of current Covid-19 related circumstances it will come as no surprise that the club is suspended until further notice.

The leisure centre is now closed for the foreseeable future but regardless of that, given current government guidelines, we should all be avoiding contact with each other as much as possible.

Hopefully, we may be able to play again before our regular end of season break in July & August but it may be that we will be unable to meet again until much later in the year.

In the meantime, stay safe and I’ll post updates as and when I have them.

Christmas Break 2019

We are now on our break for the Christmas Holidays – next official club night will be Tuesday 7th January. Hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year and look forward to seeing everyone again in 2020.

New Season Starts Tuesday 3rd

We are pleased to announce that the new season starts up again next week following the summer break. The first night will be on Tuesday 3rd September at the regular venue of Culverhay Sports Centre from 8pm to 10pm.

We look forward to welcoming back regular members and those new who wish to play badminton on a regular basis.
