Christmas and New Year Dates

Next week (12th December) will be the last badminton night of the year.  Hope to see you all then but if not then have a great Christmas/New Year.  Unless I hear otherwise the first opportunity to start running off those mince pies and christmas cake will be Thursday 9th January.

Half Term Dates

Half Term this year falls across the 24th and 31st of October so there will be no club night on those dates.  The Sports Hall is also not available to us on the 7th November so after next week there will be a 3 week break I’m afraid.  So to summarise:

17th Oct – Badminton as normal
24th Oct – No Badminton
31st Oct – No Badminton
7th Nov – No Badminton
14th Nov – Badminton as normal

Dates for Your Diary

I’ve been informed that the sports hall will not be available for us on the:

3rd October

7th November

so there will be no badminton club on those nights.

Access to the Sports Hall

This year if you try to access the hall via the rear entrance you will find that the gate across the driveway will be closed and locked.  You can still park in the car parking area to the right of the gate, or on the road itself, but you will have to walk up the driveway to the sports hall.

Alternatively, you can park at the front of the school and walk round to the sports hall at the rear.

2013-14 Season Start Date

I’m pleased to announce that the first night of the 2013/14 season will be Thursday 12th September at the usual time of 7:30pm-9:30pm.

New players are very much welcome to come along and I look forward to seeing some familiar faces again!
